Day 1: Arrival at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport

Day 2: Addis Ababa City Tour
Visit the National Museum (home of Lucy), Mount Entoto, St. Mary’s Church, and the Trinity Cathedral. Continue to Merkato, Africa’s largest open-air market. In the evening, enjoy traditional music and dinner.

Day 3: Drive to Awash National Park
After breakfast, fly to Dire Dawa and drive to Harar via the scenic mountains of Adwa. Enjoy a thrilling evening watching the man feeding wild hyenas.

Day 4: Visit the Walled Town of Harar
Explore the walled city of Jegol, the Arthur Rimbaud Museum, Haile Selassie’s childhood home, and Harari Cultural Museum.

Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa at Bole International Airport
Meet our representative upon arrival and transfer to your hotel for check-in and rest after your flight.

Day 2: City Tour in Addis Ababa
Explore the capital city, visiting Entoto Mountain (3,000m) for panoramic views over Addis, the National and Ethnographic Museums, St. George Cathedral, Trinity Cathedral, and Merkato — Africa’s largest open-air market.
Overnight: Addis Ababa Hotel.

Day 3: Addis – Awash National Park
Depart Addis and drive 200 km via Debre Zeit and Nazret to the Rift Valley floor and Awash National Park. Observe Beisa Oryx, Soemmering’s Gazelle, Greater and Lesser Kudu, Olive and Hamadryas Baboons, and Warthogs. The park is also home to 460 bird species, including 6 endemics.

Day 4: Awash – Harar
Travel across the Rift Valley and along the scenic Ahmar Mountains to the ancient walled city of Harar. Known for its Arabic-style architecture and over 99 mosques, Harar is one of Islam’s holiest cities. In the evening, experience the famous Hyena Man feeding ceremony outside the city walls.

Day 5: Harar – Dire Dawa
Inside the walled city, visit the Harari National Cultural Centre Museum, Jami Mosque (17th century), Rimbaud’s House Museum, and the birthplace of Emperor Haile Selassie. Later, drive to Dire Dawa, known for its rich cultural diversity and lively atmosphere.

Day 6: Dire Dawa – Debre Zeit – Addis Ababa
Drive back toward Addis Ababa, stopping at Debre Zeit — a charming volcanic area surrounded by crater lakes such as Bishoftu, Hora, Babogaya, and Kuriftu. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon before returning to Addis Ababa.
